Are you BOLD?

Josh and i had the privilege to accompany teenagers from our church to Lincoln, NE for a Conference called Dare 2 Share the Un tour. Josh and I left at 4:30pm and the conference started at 7pm...so we knew we wouldn't make it before it started. However i figured we would at least make it there by 7:45 or 8pm at the latest. Little did we realize we were driving into a huge snowstorm...so by the time we hit Council Bluffs area it was snowing, blowing, and starting to stick to the roads making them slick and slushy. So after 5 hours in a car and wasting 30min trying to find a parking spot we finally made it! We only made for the last 30 min of the conference...but what we saw and heard made all the craziness worth while. Finally it was time to head back to the hotel...i am very happy to report there was much less drama on this journey. Now what do you get when you have 7 teenagers and a hotel full of other teenagers? Little sleep..lol....oh well i gotta say i got about the same amount of sleep i always get cuz of my little munchkin. The next day we had a group of zombie teenagers...lol! The 2nd day was great...i even learned and grew a lot in my faith. The drama that was performed was amazing and tugged at me to look around me and to try to be more aware of others who need Jesus. This conference was HUGE over 6,000 teenagers attended and between 500 to 1,000 accepted Jesus for the first time!! As we were there the teenagers were encouraged to reach out by way of phone and text to 3 people they wrote on their hand. These teenagers left the conference so on fire to share Jesus with their friends and people at school....i truly believe that these youth are gonna change the world.

I will leave you with this little acrostic that may help you share or explain the gospel with someone:
G - God created us to be with him
O- Our sins separate us from God
S- Sins cannot be removed by good deeds
P- Paying the price for sin Jesus died and rose again
E- Everyone who trusts in Him alone has eternal life
L- Life with Jesus starts now and lasts forever!
