Alivia is also hitting all her developmental milestones with ease....she is crawling (and getting into trouble), pulling herself up on the couch ( and myself...what am i?....a tree?), clapping her hands, waving bye (it is backwards...but it is a start), picking things up with her fingers, feeding herself (even though a ton of it ends up on my floor..lol), drinks from a sippie, and has a vocabulary of at least 4 words...Dadadadaddad, Mammamamamama, uhh ooooh, and yea. Still no teeth in the chatterbox's mouth yet, but Dr Anderson assured me they are coming and she is perfectly normal, and the longer they stay hidden the better oral health she will have later (puts mommies worries at ease).
After that appointment i am feeling truly blessed to have such a healthy baby girl. So many kids i know that were born around the same time have had countless sicknesses, had tubes in their ears, and even suffer from allergies. My healthy (and nearly perfect ;)) baby has had no sickness whatsoever, minus the sniffles during the winter. Sometimes it takes noticing the "small" stuff to realize just how truly blessed we are.
As i sit here finishing this post...i can hear her talking and playing in her crib...it just makes my heart smile! I am so Blessed, there just aren't enough words!
I totally LOVE this picture!!
Alivia's first time using the swings at the park.
